Dr. Yael Albo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at
Ariel University, Israel. She received her B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Ben-
Gurion University of the Negev in 2000, graduating cum laude. She subsequently
completed her M.Sc. (2002) and Ph.D. (2007) in Chemistry at the same institution
under the supervision of Prof. Dan Meyerstein. Her graduate and doctoral work
centered on the design and synthesis of tailored ligands for stabilizing high-valent
transition-metal cations, with an emphasis on structure–reactivity relationships in
inorganic coordination systems.
